Quick Update: Federal Permit

What’s New? 

We have our federal permit!

There are many milestones that must be reached before a meadery can begin making mead. One essential milestone is the basic permit. With this permit, the federal government gives permission to produce and sell alcohol in the country.

What’s Next? 

Now that we have approval from the feds, we can apply for a state winery permit. The state's process typically takes a few months. Once we have the state’s approval, we can start making mead!
